How to Install powerstat software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

powerstat software package provides laptop power measuring tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install powerstat

powerstat is installed in your system.

Make ensure the powerstat package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep powerstat *

You will get with powerstat package name, version, architecture and description in a table
